August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day. Braintree Community Partnership on Substance Use will be hosting a ceremony on Thursday, August 29th at 10am at the Braintree Town Hall. Details to come.

September is National Recovery Month. The Braintree Community Partnership on Substance Use will be hosting a ceremony and tree lighting at the Braintree Town Hall on Tuesday, September 10th. Time to be determined.

- Suggested donation of $5, $10, $15, $20, other (donations of $5 or more will get a t-shirt).

- 100% of your donations will help the Addiction Recovery Team’s work to make this walk an annual event and support community efforts in prevention and recovery from addiction. Thank you for your support!
- In order to receive a t-shirt you must register by September 14th, to allow time for t-shirt production. However, after September 14th, though we won’t be taking any more orders for t-shirts, you will still be able to register and donate.

Learn more about what e-cigarette and vape products are, why they are harmful, how the tobacco and vaping industry are targeting kids, and how to protect our kids from this latest trend. Mary Cole is the Program Coordinator of the Greater Boston Tobacco-Free Community Partnership. Mary has her Masters in Public Health from Boston University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
